I think that is a good theory for sure , I sometimes wonder if he will not come to us in a disk shaped craft and try to pass himself off as Jesus

Daniel 11:45… And he (Pontifex Maximus) Pope shall plant the tabernacles (dwelling place) of his palace between the seas(Black and dead Sea) in the glorious Holy Mountain(Jerusalem): yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. (This cannot be Jesus Christ)!

I am sorry ziggy, I do not have the knowledge to answer your question.
How about filling all of us in on a little more information?
Revelations in the king james version of the bible, or should we look somewhere else?
There has got to be more than just matthew and daniel.

hello again to all my family in this website!! I am sort of sorry for Dr. Miller PHD. because he is obviously not a Dr. of Theology. I however am not either but,...I have been given what I beleive is a great insight into biblical scriptural knowledge! and please do not b offended by what I say here Dr. Miller,...I didn't mean any harm in the way I spoke. But!,...I do beleive in what my Father's word says,...."any person who lacks wisdom,...OR,...understanding,....let them ask of God who gives to all men "liberally",....and does not scorn or make light of. the actual word there is "upbraid". when attempting to interpret scripture,....you must first realize that the best way to do it is to,...."interpret" scripture with scripture. and I can assure you this is a tried and true method! as I've spent many years doing this, praying for the understanding. and Ziggy,...you are right!,.... this is not Yeshua Messiah that is spoken of in this text! niether is it Maximus,....but one who will come much later,...and be all the more "demonic" the Catholic Church will have some part in the bringing about the advent of "antichrist",... but only a bit part!,.... they are just one of the many pawns that satan is using to set up his dark reign,.... the beast will not come from Rome! I assure you this! he cannot be a "Gentile" because the Jews would never accept him! also,....there are a lot more things that must come to pass before this all happens. watch the news closely for the next 18 months,.....we are so close to the "war of Ezekiel 38&39" till I can almost feel the winds of war blowing now!!!

Once the pope agrees to "share" the Sabbath between Sunday and Saturday - he is a shoe in! I don't hear any Jews complaining every time a pope has donned a yamaka and the Real Estate the Vatican has in Jerusalem is simply opulent. The Vatican has been busily "uniting" all of Earth's religions for a while now. My vote is for the pope, especially if the next pope is a Jesuit (black pope). Most of the original hardcore Protestants pegged it on the pope as well. No offense to any of the well meaning Catholic sheeple out there.. just my opinion.

Whether you think you are a Christian, or are a dyed in the wool atheist, don’t know what you believe or don’t really care....

My  challenge is to a lost and dying world , churches, Ministers, Pastors etc....., who for the most part, have  wandered so far from the truth to be rendered not only ineffectual, but equally lost. The problem with Christianity today is that, for the most part, it doesn't exist! What passes for Christianity at best is largely an anemic, spineless, diluted substitute without convictions or principles... diluting the Gospel, embracing worldly methods and becoming people pleaser's. Not only does today’s fad driven church push the tacky, the trashy, and the trivial, but the very church that should have been a bulwark against evil has, with apostate leaders and a Biblicaly  illiterate population, latched on to the coat tails of the world, extensively borrowing from other religions and cults. Worse, we have adopted practices that are DIRECTLY derived from the Occult. They are so busy congratulating themselves  on how “spiritual” They  have become, that we little suspect that we have actually lost all rights to call ourselves “Christians”, or the body of Christ. Instead we have truly become The Devil’s Playground. May God, in His mercy send us a Nathan to accuse, a Jonah to warn, and an Elijah to threaten before it is too late.

Christians seem to totally forget that they are followers of the man who called the Pharisees white-washed tombs and drove the money- changers out of the temple. We are students of the Apostle Paul, who called down God's curse on anyone who preached a different gospel.

If people research all what is going on in the world, it will soon become clear,That all roads lead to Rome!!!
