I heard a tale that i must tell, of men so brave and many fell, they gave their life for libertee, justice, and the american way, for these good men i have to pray, to pray for those we have forgot, forgot with ease and discontent, with dieing breath their life was spent. they gave their life for you and me, for a new america we could see,
but the years have gone and went by fast, a nation built for us at last, our hearts were full of joy and trust, our fathers gave us what they must, they gave us laws and social standing, and our freedom we were demanding, they come from near and faraway, to this great land i have to say, what they gave us we have forgot, and liberty now, we have not,
for this great nation once so proud, all thats left is an angry crowd, they took our freedom and libertee, wraped it in a shroud for you and me, gave it away to god knows who, and left us feeling rather blue, the tale i tell i have to say, is no more the american way.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
AND ALL MY AMERICAN FRIEND'S.
